AGUASAN Community of Practice

AGUASAN is an longstanding interdisciplinary Swiss community of practice (CoP) hosted by the SDC. It brings together a broad range of specialists to promote wider and deeper understanding of key issues in water and sanitation in international cooperation.

The AGUASAN group is one of the oldest existing sector specific CoP on the Swiss development scene. It builds on committed sector professionals from various specialized institutions involved in Swiss development cooperation, humanitarian aid and research.

Since 1984, AGUASAN is a vibrant and most pertinent exchange platform and think-tank playing a vital role in shaping the response to the global water crisis. 2025 marks the 40th Anniversary of AGUASAN and will be used for capizalization of the valuable experiences generated for and by the Commuity of Practice.

Aguasan Meetings in 2025 will take place on March 4, June 4, September 4 and December 4
