Follow-up audit on the implementation of a key recommendation: risk management
The Pro Helvetia (PH) foundation is the Swiss Arts Council. Its mission is to promote contemporary, professional art and culture of national interest. In 2024, the Swiss Federal Audit Office (SFAO) conducted a risk management audit. This yielded a key recommendation that PH put an effective risk management process in place that is sufficiently formalised and tailored to the foundation's size and activities. The SFAO carried out a follow-up audit on the implementation of this key recommendation.
Audit of the use of Linked Data Services
Linked Data Service (LINDAS) is an IT service provided by the Swiss Federal Archives (SFA). The Confederation, the cantons and the communes can use LINDAS to link and publish freely available open government data (OGD). LINDAS enables machines to combine information from different sources. Authorities, businesses, academia and civil society can reuse and further process the published data without restriction. The SFA set up LINDAS between 2017 and 2020, at a cost of CHF 2.2 million. It has been in use since 2020. As part of the LINDAS next project, the SFA is currently renewing the platform from a technical and organisational perspective, at a cost of CHF 1.5 million. The Swiss Federal Audit Office (SFAO) conducted an audit to determine whether LINDAS is sufficiently mature and established both strategically and operationally to enable coordinated, widespread and interoperable use throughout the Confederation.

On 10 June 2026 State Secretary of the FDFA Alexandre Fasel held political consultations in Bern with Secretary-General of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs Martin Briens. Discussions covered bilateral relations, European policy issues and international developments.
Issue result for Confederation bonds
The Swiss Confederation issued a bond by auction on 10.06.2026: 0.875%, maturity 24.06.2041 (new bond. The issuance volume (excluding own holdings) amounts to a total of 415.170 million francs.

2030 Agenda: Confederation, cantons, communes, business, academia and civil society discuss its effective implementation
How can the 2030 Agenda's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) be effectively advanced in Switzerland? This question was the focus of an event held in Bern on 9 June 2026, organised by the FDFA's Prosperity and Sustainability Division, which included representatives from the cantons, communes, business, academia, civil society and the federal government. They had all contributed to Switzerland's country report on the 2030 Agenda, which was adopted by the Federal Council on 13 May 2026.
Trust in public institutions: a marked gap between women and men
A study commissioned by the Federal Office for Gender Equality (FOGE) from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) shows that women in Switzerland have less trust in public institutions than men. Whilst Switzerland enjoys a high level of trust in its institutions by international standards, it also has one of the widest gender gaps.

Prevention bulletin 2026/1 aviation
The Swiss Transportation Safety Investigation Board (STSB) is publishing the prevention bulletin 2026/1 aviation.Prevention bulletins contain useful information in accordance with Art. 56 OSITI for the prevention of accidents and serious incidents. They were obtained as part of preliminary investigations into incidents for which an investigation is not opened for reasons of efficiency. The Prevention Bulletins are compiled in chronological order and include those incidents for which a preliminary investigation was completed by the end of the respective quarter. The information does not claim to be complete, is anonymised and is designed to contribute to the safety awareness of the public concerned.The German versions of the prevention bulletins are the originals and therefore authoritative.
Rise in employment and fall in turnover in Swiss market sector activities in 1st quarter 2026
Market sector activities across the Swiss economy posted contrasting results in the 1st quarter 2026. Turnover fell by 2.6% compared with the same quarter of the previous year while employment in these same market sector activities rose by 0.5% (total employment +0.5%).
