• Colombia / Peru / Mexico / Brazil: El Agua Nos Une – SuizAgua Latin America

  Agua nos Une" operates as a public private partnership that identifies and tackles water related risks, evaluates and reduce the water foo­tprint in productive processes; and motivates com­panies to improve their water management. Simultaneously, Agua nos Une encourages/supports the implementation of public policies that analyze the use and the control of water pollutants, as well as the preservation of stra­tegic ecosystems. At the global level, the initiative is pertinent as part of the Response to the priorities established in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), in par­ticular goals 6 & 12, as well as with the OECD's declaration on green growth and the interest of the Pacific Alliance (Alianza del Pacífico).

• Tajikistan: Water Supply and Sanitation (TajWSS)

  The Tajikistan Water Supply and Sanitation (TajWSS) Project was implemented between 2009-2022 by Oxfam GB in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Consumers Union (CU) of Tajikistan, with funding from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

• Bolivia: Gestión Integral del Agua

• Colombia: ASIR SABA - Municipal Technical Assistance Areas to support community management of rural water and sanitation

  The ASIR-SABA project seeks to contribute to peacebuilding, improving the quality of life of the rural population, through differential schemes that allow sustainable management for the provision of water and sanitation, as a part of the Swiss Cooperation Strategy providing basic services for victims of armed violence.

• Ukraine: DESPRO Swiss-Ukrainian Decentralization Support Project

  The Swiss-Ukrainian Decentralization Support Project DESPRO is an international assistance project working in the reform of local self-governance (or “decentralization”) in Ukraine.

• Moldova: ApaSan Swiss Water and Sanitation Project

  SDC started to support the water sector in Moldova in 2001 with a humanitarian aid intervention. Since 2008, SDC and the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) are funding the ApaSan project, which is implemented by Skat Consulting Ltd.. The ApaSan project combines policy influencing, institutional strengthening and support to infrastructure development with the aim to enable Moldovan institutions at all levels to better respond to the needs for water supply and sanitation services of the rural population, including the most vulnerable.

• Mozambique: PROGOAS Governance, Water and Sanitation Programme

  The Governance, Water and Sanitation Programme (PROGOAS) has helped improve the living conditions and health of rural populations in the northern provinces of Cabo Delgado and Nampula. The programme has promoted the participation of men and women in the local governance system and improved the delivery of responsive and sustainable water and sanitation services.
