Municipalities in Switzerland play a key role in the sustainable and responsible management of water resources. In doing so, they are dependent on cooperation with the population, NGOs, various economic sectors and academia. Under the title “Water and climate: tackling complex challenges in a future-oriented way with interdisciplinary partnerships”, the opportunities and responsibilities of political decision-makers with regard to water as a resource will be discussed, possibilities for sustainable water management at municipal level will be highlighted and the added value of long-term partnerships will be illustrated. The event invites stakeholders from politics, business, research and civil society and all those who are committed to the responsible use of water and wastewater.
